Method

Preparation of Marinade

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a medium bowl, combine minced garlic, fresh rosemary, fresh thyme, and red wine. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Steak

Place ribeye steaks in a large resealable bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the steaks, ensuring they are well covered. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best flavor.

Cooking the Steak

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Brush the grates with olive oil to prevent sticking.

  2. 4

    Season the Steak

Remove steaks from the marinade and pat dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.

  3. 5

    Grill the Steak

Place the steaks on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is achieved. Remove from grill and let rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing.

Preparing the Sides

  1. 6

    Prepare the Baby Potatoes

Boil baby potatoes in salted water for about 15-20 minutes, or until tender. Drain and set aside.

  2. 7

    Sauté the Asparagus

In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add asparagus and sauté for 5-7 minutes until tender-crisp. Drizzle with lemon juice before serving.

  3. 8

    Serve Together

Serve the grilled ribeye steaks with sautéed asparagus and boiled baby potatoes on the side.
