Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Start by gathering all your ingredients. Peel and devein the shrimp if not already done. Mince the garlic and chop the scallions.

  2. 2

    Soak the Guindilla Peppers

If using dried guindilla peppers, soak them in warm water for about 10 minutes to soften. Drain and chop them into smaller pieces.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Heat the Olive Oil

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Make sure it is hot but not smoking.

  2. 4

    Cook the Garlic

Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until it becomes fragrant and golden, being careful not to burn it.

  3. 5

    Add the Peppers and Scallions

Stir in the chopped guindilla peppers and scallions, cooking for another 2-3 minutes until the scallions are slightly tender.

  4. 6

    Cook the Shrimp

Increase the heat to medium-high and add the shrimp to the skillet. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the shrimp are pink and opaque.

  5. 7

    Add Salsa Bilbaina

Pour in the Salsa Bilbaina and stir well to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.

  6. 8

    Serve

Remove from heat and serve immediately while hot. Garnish with additional scallions if desired.
