Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Sauté Vegetables

In a large paella pan or skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and chopped onion, sautéing until the onion is translucent.

  2. 2

    Add Remaining Vegetables

Stir in the bell pepper, zucchini, green beans, chopped tomato, and frozen peas. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables begin to soften.

  3. 3

    Add Rice and Liquids

Add the paella rice to the pan, stirring well to coat with the oil. Pour in the white wine and let it simmer for a few minutes until it reduces slightly. Then add the vegetable broth and saffron threads.

  4. 4

    Season and Cook

Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to medium-low. Cover and simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and has absorbed most of the liquid.

  5. 5

    Garnish and Serve

Once cooked, remove from heat and let it sit covered for 5 minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
