Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Rice

In a pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add 1 cup of rice and a pinch of salt. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 15-20 minutes or until rice is tender and water is absorbed.

  2. 2

    Cook the Mixed Vegetables

In a separate pan, add a little olive oil and sauté the mixed vegetables over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes until they are tender-crisp. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Lobster Sauce

In a saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about a minute. Add the heavy cream, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Stir and let it simmer for 5 minutes until slightly thickened. Add the lobster tail (cooked and chopped) and stir well.

  4. 4

    Pan-Seer the Tilapia

Season the tilapia fillets with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat the remaining olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Add the tilapia fillets and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Dish

On each plate, serve a tilapia fillet topped with the lobster sauce. Garnish with a lobster tail piece on top. Serve alongside the rice and sautéed mixed vegetables.
