Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Cook the Linguini

In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the linguini according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and sliced mushrooms. Sauté for about 5 minutes until the onions are translucent and mushrooms are tender.

  3. 3

    Add the Garlic and Shrimp

Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for an additional minute. Then add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink and are cooked through, about 3-4 minutes.

  4. 4

    Combine with Marinara Sauce

Pour the marinara sauce over the shrimp mixture. Stir in red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper to taste. Allow to simmer for about 5 minutes to heat through.

  5. 5

    Combine with Linguini

Toss the cooked linguini with the shrimp and marinara sauce mixture until well coated.

  6. 6

    Serve

Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot. Adjust spice level with additional red pepper flakes if desired.
