Preparation

1

Prepare the Cucumber

Wash the cucumber thoroughly. Slice it into thin rounds, setting aside a few slices for garnish.

2

Muddle the Herbs

In a cocktail shaker, add the fresh spearmint and lemon balm leaves. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to gently press and release their oils, being careful not to shred them.

3

Add Sugar and Cucumber

Add the sliced cucumber and granulated sugar to the shaker with the muddled herbs. Muddle gently again to combine the flavors.

Mixing

4

Combine Ingredients

Pour in the elderflower liqueur into the shaker. Fill the shaker with ice and secure the lid.

5

Shake the Mixture

Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds, ensuring that the mixture is well chilled.

Serving

6

Strain and Serve

Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice. Top with Prosecco, allowing the bubbles to gently mix with the drink.

7

Garnish and Enjoy

Garnish with the reserved cucumber slices and a sprig of fresh spearmint. Serve immediately and enjoy your Verdant Spritz!
