Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Wash the fresh spinach thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt or grit. Drain well and set aside.

  2. 2

    Mince the Garlic

Peel the garlic cloves and finely mince them using a knife or a garlic press.

  3. 3

    Heat the Olive Oil

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Allow the oil to warm up for about 1-2 minutes.

  4. 4

    Sauté the Garlic

Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to let it burn.

  5. 5

    Add the Spinach

Gradually add the washed spinach to the skillet. It may seem like a lot, but it will cook down significantly.

  6. 6

    Season the Spinach

Sprinkle in the salt and black pepper. Toss the spinach continuously as it wilts, cooking for about 3-4 minutes until it's tender and bright green.

  7. 7

    Finish with Lemon Juice

Once the spinach is cooked, remove the skillet from heat and drizzle the lemon juice over the sautéed spinach. Toss gently to combine.

  8. 8

    Serve

Transfer the sautéed spinach to a serving dish and enjoy it warm as a side dish.
