Method
Cooking Pasta
- 1
Prepare the Water
In a large pot, bring 2 liters of water to a boil. Add 1 tablespoon of salt to the boiling water.
- 2
Cook the Pasta
Add 200 grams of pasta to the boiling water and cook according to the package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes.
- 3
Drain and Set Aside
Once cooked, drain the pasta and set aside, reserving some pasta water for later use if necessary.
Making Creamy Spinach Sauce
- 4
Sauté Garlic
In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add 2 minced garlic cloves and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- 5
Add Spinach
Add 200 grams of fresh spinach to the skillet. Cook until wilted, about 3-4 minutes.
- 6
Stir in Cream and Cheese
Lower the heat, then pour in 100 ml of heavy cream and add 50 grams of grated Parmesan cheese. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.
- 7
Season the Sauce
Season with salt and pepper to taste. If the sauce is too thick, you can add a little reserved pasta water to reach your desired consistency.
Making Fresh Tomato Sauce
- 8
Prepare Tomatoes
Chop 300 grams of fresh tomatoes into small pieces.
- 9
- 10
Add Basil
Stir in 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh basil. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Combining and Serving
