Prepare the Oysters and Sauce

Clean the Oysters
Rinse the fresh oysters under cold water to remove any sand or grit. Drain and set aside.

Sauté Garlic
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Add Oysters
Add the cleaned oysters to the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes until they begin to open.

Add Cream and Chili Sauce
Pour in 1 cup of heavy cream and 1 cup of chili sauce. Stir to combine, then season with salt and black pepper. Allow the mixture to simmer for 5 minutes until heated through.

Finish with Parsley
Stir in 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley and remove from heat.

Plate the Dish
Divide the oyster and cream mixture among serving bowls. Serve with toasted sourdough slices on the side for dipping.
