Lobster Tail

Method

Preparing the Lobster

  1. 1

    Preparing the Lobster Tails

Using kitchen scissors, cut the top shell of the lobster tail down the middle to expose the meat. Be careful not to cut all the way through the tail.

  2. 2

    Seasoning

Sprinkle salt and black pepper over the exposed meat of the lobster tails. Allow them to sit while you prepare the garlic butter.

Making Garlic Butter

  1. 3

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat.

  2. 4

    Add Garlic

Once the butter is melted, add the minced garlic cloves and sauté for about 2-3 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.

  3. 5

    Finish the Garlic Butter

Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley and lemon juice. Set aside.

Grilling the Lobster

  1. 6

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

  2. 7

    Grill the Lobster Tails

Place the lobster tails, meat side up, on the grill. Brush generously with the garlic butter. Grill for about 6-8 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and cooked through.

  3. 8

    Baste and Finish

During the last few minutes of grilling, baste the lobster tails with more garlic butter for extra flavor.

  4. 9

    Serve

Remove the lobster tails from the grill and serve immediately with any remaining garlic butter for dipping.
