Method
Crab Cake Preparation
- 1
Combine Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the lump crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, and chopped green onion. Gently mix until well combined.
- 2
Form the Mixture
Add the bread crumbs and beaten egg to the crab mixture. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Gently fold the mixture until the bread crumbs are incorporated without breaking up the crab meat too much. Form the mixture into 4 equal patties.
- 3
Fry the Crab Cakes
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully place the crab cakes in the skillet. Fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy. Remove from the skillet and let drain on paper towels.
