Fried Pickles
Creamy Garlic Sauce
Method
Fried Pickles
- 1
Prepare the Pickles
Drain the dill pickles from the jar and pat them dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. This helps the coating stick better.
- 2
- 3
Bread the Pickles
Dip each pickle slice first into the egg mixture, allowing excess to drip off, then coat it in the flour mixture, pressing lightly to adhere. Place the coated pickles on a plate.
- 4
- 5
Fry the Pickles
Carefully add a few breaded pickles to the hot oil, being cautious not to overcrowd the pan. Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
Creamy Garlic Sauce
- 6
Prepare the Sauce
In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, minced garlic, lemon juice, dill weed, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until smooth and creamy.
- 7
Chill the Sauce
Cover the sauce and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
