Prepare the Salad Base
Wash and dry the green leaf lettuce thoroughly. Tear it into bite-sized pieces and place it in a large salad bowl.

Slice the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop it out. Cut it into cubes and set aside. Halve the cherry tomatoes and thinly slice the red onion.

Pat the sea scallops dry with paper towels. Season them generously on both sides with blackening seasoning.

Assemble the Salad
In the bowl with the lettuce, add the avocado cubes, cherry tomatoes, red onion slices, crumbled bacon, and blue cheese. Toss gently to combine.

Top the salad with the blackened scallops.
