Method
Prepare the Glass

Rim the glass (optional)
Run a lime wedge around the rim of the glass and dip into salt to coat the rim. Set aside.
Make the Frozen Margarita

In a blender, combine tequila, triple sec, fresh lime juice, simple syrup, and ice. Blend until smooth and slushy.

Pour the frozen margarita into the prepared glass, leaving a small space at the top.
Finish with Hennessy

Slowly pour 1 oz of Hennessy over the back of a spoon held just above the margarita to float it on top.

Garnish with a lime wedge and serve immediately.
