Method

Pasta Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the cavatappi pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Cheese Sauce Preparation

  1. 2

    Make the Roux

In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add the flour and whisk continuously for about 2 minutes to form a roux.

  2. 3

    Add Milk

Slowly whisk in the milk, ensuring there are no lumps. Continue cooking until the mixture thickens and bubbles, about 5-7 minutes.

  3. 4

    Add Cheese

Remove from heat and stir in the sharp cheddar, Monterey Jack, and Parmesan cheeses until melted and smooth. Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

Combine Ingredients

  1. 5

    Mix Pasta and Lobster

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta and lobster meat. Pour the cheese sauce over the pasta and lobster, stirring until evenly coated.

Baking

  1. 6

    Prepare for Baking

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.

  2. 7

    Transfer to Baking Dish

Pour the lobster mac and cheese mixture into the prepared baking dish.

  3. 8

    Prepare Topping

In a small bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, chopped parsley, and olive oil. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the top of the lobster mac and cheese.

  4. 9

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
