Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Peppers
Carefully wash and dry the yellow chile peppers. Cut a slit down one side of each pepper to create an opening for stuffing.
- 2
Make the Filling
In a bowl, mix the cream cheese with garlic powder, black pepper, and salt to taste until smooth and well combined.
- 3
Stuff the Peppers
Using a spoon or piping bag, fill each yellow chile pepper with the cream cheese mixture, then insert one shrimp into each stuffed pepper.
Wrapping and Cooking
- 4
Wrap with Bacon
Take two slices of bacon and wrap them around each stuffed pepper, ensuring the pepper is fully covered.
- 5
Cook the Toritos
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the bacon-wrapped peppers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the shrimp is cooked through.

Serve
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Serve warm as an appetizer.
