Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Mac and Cheese

Cook elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2

Make the Cheese Sauce

In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until lightly golden. Gradually whisk in milk, and continue to whisk until the mixture thickens. Stir in cheddar cheese until melted and creamy. Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

3

Fry the Chicken

Season chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Dredge in breadcrumbs and pan-fry in vegetable oil over medium-high heat until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove and let cool before slicing.

4

Cook the Bacon

In the same pan, cook bacon until crispy. Remove and let drain on paper towels before chopping into pieces.

5

Combine Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine cooked macaroni, cheese sauce, sliced fried chicken, and chopped bacon. Toss until everything is well coated.

6

Serve

Serve hot, garnished with additional cheese or bacon bits if desired.
