Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pasta

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the baby rigatoni and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and return to the pot.

  2. 2

    Combine with Marinara

In the pot with the rigatoni, add the marinara sauce and olive oil. Stir well to combine, ensuring the pasta is evenly coated. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Dish

Transfer the rigatoni mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan evenly over the top.

  4. 4

    Bake

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil if desired, then serve hot.
