Cocktail Preparation

Prepare the Mixing Glass
Fill a mixing glass with ice cubes. This will chill the ingredients as you prepare the cocktail.

Measure the Spirits
Pour 1 cup of gin into the mixing glass over the ice.

Add Vermouth
Add 1 cup of sweet vermouth into the mixing glass with the gin.

Pour in Campari
Add 1 cup of Campari to the mixing glass, completing the mixture.

Stir the Mixture
Using a bar spoon, stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds. This allows the ingredients to combine and chill properly.

Strain the Cocktail
Using a strainer, pour the mixture into a chilled rocks glass filled with fresh ice cubes.

Garnish the Drink
Twist an orange peel over the drink to release its oils, then drop it into the glass as garnish.
