Crostini Preparation

Prepare the Ciabatta
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the ciabatta loaf into 1/2-inch thick slices.

Bake the Crostini
Place the ciabatta slices on a baking sheet. Brush each slice generously with olive oil. Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
Tomato Topping Preparation

Chop the Tomatoes
Wash and dice the fresh tomatoes into small pieces. Place them in a mixing bowl.

Mince the Garlic
Peel and finely mince the garlic cloves. Add them to the bowl with the tomatoes.

Add Basil and Seasoning
Chop the fresh basil leaves and add them to the bowl. Add balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Mix all the ingredients together gently.
Basil Oil Preparation

Make the Basil Oil
In a blender or food processor, combine 1 cup of olive oil with 1 cup of fresh basil leaves. Blend until smooth and well combined.

Strain the Basil Oil
Pour the basil oil through a fine mesh strainer to remove solid bits. Set aside for drizzling over the bruschetta.
