Add Tomatoes and Seasonings
Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, basil, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Layer the Ingredients
In a 9x13 inch baking dish, spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom. Place 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce. Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles, followed by a layer of meat sauce. Sprinkle with a third of the mozzarella cheese.

Repeat the layering process: noodles, ricotta mixture, meat sauce, and mozzarella cheese. Finish with a final layer of noodles, remaining meat sauce, and top with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
