Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Salmon
Rinse the Faroe Island salmon fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

Marinate the Salmon
In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, minced garlic, juice of half the lemon, salt, pepper, and chopped dill. Rub this mixture over the salmon fillets and let marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Bake the Salmon
Place the marinated salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Slice the remaining half of the lemon and place the slices on top of the fillets. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.

While the salmon is baking, prepare the optional garnishes. Rinse the capers and chop the parsley if using.
