Filling Preparation
- 1
Make the Mascarpone Filling
In a mixing bowl, combine the mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy. Set aside.
Fruit Preparation
- 2
Prepare the Fruits
Wash the strawberries and blueberries under cold water. Hull and slice the strawberries into thin pieces. Peel the banana and slice it into rounds.
Crème Anglaise Preparation
- 3
Make the Crème Anglaise
In a saucepan, combine the milk, heavy cream, and half of the sugar. Heat over medium heat until just below boiling. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg yolks with the remaining sugar until pale. Slowly add the hot milk mixture to the egg yolks, whisking constantly. Return to the saucepan and cook on low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens enough to coat the back of a spoon. If using a vanilla bean, split it and scrape the seeds into the mixture. Strain through a fine sieve into a bowl and let cool.

Assemble the Dessert
In serving dishes, place a generous spoonful of the mascarpone filling. Top with a mix of sliced strawberries, blueberries, and banana slices. Drizzle with the prepared crème anglaise. Finally, add a dollop of whipped cream on top and dust with powdered sugar.
