Method

Classic Martini

    Prepare the Glass

    Chill a martini glass by filling it with ice water and setting it aside.

    Mix Ingredients

    In a mixing glass, combine 2 oz of gin and 0.5 oz of dry vermouth. Fill the glass with ice.

    Stir

    Stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds until well chilled.

    Strain and Garnish

    Discard the ice water from the chilled martini glass. Strain the mixture into the glass and garnish with an olive or a twist of lemon peel.

Old Fashioned

    Muddle the Sugar

    In an old-fashioned glass, place the sugar cube and add 2 dashes of Angostura bitters. Muddle until the sugar is dissolved.

    Add Whiskey

    Add 2 oz of bourbon or rye whiskey to the glass.

    Add Ice

    Fill the glass with ice cubes.

    Garnish

    Stir gently and garnish with a twist of orange peel.

Margarita

    Salt the Rim (Optional)

    Rub a lime wedge around the rim of a margarita glass and dip it into a plate of salt.

    Mix Ingredients

    In a shaker, combine 2 oz of tequila, 1 oz of lime juice, and 0.5 oz of triple sec.

    Shake

    Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.

    Strain and Serve

    Strain the mixture into the prepared margarita glass and garnish with a lime wedge.

Mojito

    Muddle Mint and Sugar

    In a glass, muddle 10 fresh mint leaves with 2 tsp of sugar to release the mint oils.

    Add Lime Juice

    Add 1 oz of lime juice to the glass.

    Add Rum and Mix

    Pour in 2 oz of white rum and stir gently to combine.

  4. 16

    Add Club Soda

    Top off the mixture with 4 oz of club soda and stir lightly.

  5. 17

    Garnish

    Garnish with a sprig of mint.
