Sandwich Ingredients

Method

Preparing the Sandwich

  1. 1

    Assemble the Grilled Cheese

Spread honey mustard on one side of each slice of country bread. On the unspread side, layer a slice of aged cheddar cheese, followed by pulled ham mixed with maple syrup, and then another slice of cheddar cheese. Top with another slice of bread, mustard side down.

  2. 2

    Grill the Sandwich

Heat a skillet over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of butter. Once melted, place the sandwich in the skillet. Grill until golden brown on one side (about 3-4 minutes), then flip and add the remaining butter to the skillet. Grill the other side until golden and the cheese is melted, about another 3-4 minutes.

Preparing the Potatoes

  1. 3

    Season the Potatoes

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Cut the potatoes into wedges and toss them with olive oil, salt, pepper, and dried herbs.

  2. 4

    Bake the Potatoes

Spread the seasoned potatoes on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden.

Serving

  1. 5

    Plate the Dish

Serve the grilled cheese sandwich hot with a side of seasoned potatoes and a cup of mixed fresh fruits.
