Preparing the Pasta and Broccoli

Cook the Pasta
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettucini pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Blanch the Broccoli
In the same pot of boiling water, add the broccoli florets. Blanch for about 2-3 minutes until bright green and tender but still crisp. Drain and set aside with the pasta.
Cooking the Shrimp

Sauté the Shrimp
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the jumbo shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they are pink and opaque. Remove from heat and set aside.
Making the Alfredo Sauce

Add Cream and Cheese
Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Gradually stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt, black pepper, and nutmeg.
Combining Everything

Mix the Ingredients
Add the cooked pasta, broccoli, and sautéed shrimp to the skillet with the Alfredo sauce. Toss gently to combine, ensuring everything is well coated with the sauce.

Serve immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese and freshly cracked black pepper if desired.
