Cook the Shrimp
Once the liquid is boiling, add the jumbo shrimp. Reduce heat and simmer for 2-3 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque.

Ice Bath
Immediately transfer the cooked shrimp to a bowl filled with ice water to stop the cooking process. Let them cool for about 5 minutes.

Drain and Chill
Once cooled, drain the shrimp and pat them dry with paper towels. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
For the Cocktail Sauce

Mix the Sauce
In a medium bowl, combine the ketchup, prepared horseradish, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce (if using). Stir well until all ingredients are fully combined.

Taste and Adjust
Taste the cocktail sauce and adjust seasoning to your preference by adding more horseradish or hot sauce if desired.
Serving

Plate the Shrimp
Arrange the chilled shrimp on a serving platter or individual serving dishes.

Serve the shrimp with the prepared cocktail sauce on the side for dipping.
