Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Rinse the fresh fish fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and black pepper to taste.

  2. 2

    Mince the Garlic

Peel and finely mince the garlic cloves. Set aside.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Heat the Oil

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers but does not smoke.

  2. 4

    Cook the Garlic

Add the minced garlic to the hot oil and sauté for about 1 minute, or until it turns golden brown and fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.

  3. 5

    Pan Fry the Fish

Gently place the seasoned fish fillets in the skillet, cooking for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until the fish is golden brown and flakes easily with a fork.

  4. 6

    Serve

Once cooked, remove the fish from the skillet and place it on a serving platter. Drizzle any remaining garlic oil from the skillet over the fish. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
