Prepare the Pasta

Cook the Fettucini
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettucini pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes.

Add Broccoli
During the last 2-3 minutes of cooking the pasta, add the broccoli florets to the boiling water. This will blanch the broccoli and keep it bright green.

Drain the Pasta and Broccoli
Once the pasta and broccoli are cooked, drain them in a colander. Set aside.
Prepare the Sauce

Add Cream
Pour in the heavy cream and stir well. Bring the mixture to a simmer, then reduce heat to low.

Add Cheese and Seasonings
Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until it is completely melted and the sauce is creamy. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Combine and Serve

Combine Pasta and Sauce
Add the drained fettucini and broccoli to the sauce in the saucepan. Toss gently to coat the pasta and broccoli evenly with the Alfredo sauce.

Serve
Serve immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese if desired. Enjoy your Fettucini Alfredo!
