Main Ingredients

Lemon Butter Sauce

Method

Preparation of Salmon and Asparagus

  1. 1

    Marinate the Salmon

In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Asparagus

Trim the tough ends off the asparagus. Drizzle with a little olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Set aside.

Grilling

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

  2. 4

    Grill the Salmon

Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it skin-side down on the grill. Cook for about 6-7 minutes, then carefully flip and grill for another 4-5 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily.

  3. 5

    Grill the Asparagus

Place the asparagus on the grill alongside the salmon. Grill for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally until tender and charred.

Lemon Butter Sauce

  1. 6

    Prepare the Sauce

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, add the lemon zest and stir. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Remove from heat and add fresh parsley.

Serving

  1. 7

    Plate the Dish

Transfer the grilled salmon and asparagus to a serving plate. Drizzle the lemon butter sauce over the salmon and serve immediately.
