Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, combine minced garlic, chopped rosemary, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, honey, and lemon juice. Mix well until all ingredients are fully integrated.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Steak

Place the ribeye steak in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the steak, ensuring it is well-coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight for maximum flavor.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Season the Steak

Remove the steak from the marinade and let it come to room temperature. Pat the steak dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and black pepper.

  2. 4

    Sear the Steak

In a large skillet or grill pan, heat olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering. Add the ribeye steak to the pan and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until a nice crust forms and the internal temperature reaches 130°F (54°C).

  3. 5

    Rest and Serve

Once cooked to your desired doneness, remove the steak from the heat and let it rest on a cutting board for about 5-10 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute. Slice against the grain and serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley and lemon wedges if desired.
