Method
Hamburger Patty
Prepare the Patty Mixture
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix the ingredients until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
Form Patties
Divide the meat mixture into two equal portions and form each portion into a patty, about 3/4 inch thick.
Melt the Cheese
If using cheese, place a slice on each patty during the last minute of cooking to allow it to melt.
Burger Assembly
Prepare Tomato
While the patties are cooking, slice the tomato into thin rounds.
Toast Buns
Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.
French Fries
Preheat Oven
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
Prepare Potatoes
Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to resemble fries.
Season Potatoes
In a large bowl, toss the potato strips with olive oil, salt, and paprika until evenly coated.
Bake Fries
Spread the fries on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
