Mushroom Preparation

Method

Mushroom Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Mushrooms

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Gently clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth to remove any dirt. Remove the stems from each mushroom and set them aside for later use.

  2. 2

    Add Olive Oil

Brush the mushrooms with olive oil, ensuring the caps are well coated. Place them upside down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Filling

  1. 3

    Make the Filling

In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, minced garlic, chopped parsley, thyme leaves, grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well blended and creamy.

  2. 4

    Stuff the Mushrooms

Using a spoon or a piping bag, fill each mushroom cap with the cream cheese mixture, pressing gently to ensure they are packed in.

Baking

  1. 5

    Bake the Stuffed Mushrooms

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the tops are lightly golden.

  2. 6

    Serve

Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your stuffed mushrooms warm!
