Shrimp Preparation

Boil the Shrimp
In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add 1 tablespoon of salt and 2 lemon slices to the boiling water.

Cook the Shrimp
Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the boiling water. Cook for about 2-3 minutes or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.

Drain
Once chilled, drain the shrimp and pat them dry with paper towels.
Cocktail Sauce Preparation

Mix Ingredients
In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup of ketchup, 2 tablespoons of horseradish, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce, and 1 teaspoon of hot sauce (if using).

Stir Well
Stir the mixture until all ingredients are well combined. Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
Serving

Plate the Shrimp
Arrange the chilled shrimp on a serving platter.

Serve with Sauce
Serve the shrimp with the cocktail sauce on the side for dipping.
