Lobster Tail
Drawn Butter
Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Lobster
Using kitchen scissors, cut down the top of the lobster shell from the base to the tail. Gently pull apart the shell and lift the lobster meat, keeping it attached at the tail end. This will expose the meat on top of the shell.
- 2
Marinate the Lobster
In a small bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Brush this mixture generously over the lobster meat and let it marinate for about 15-20 minutes.
Grilling
- 3
Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375-400°F or 190-200°C).
- 4
Grill the Lobster
Place the lobster tails meat-side down on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes. Flip them over and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and the shells are bright red.
Making Drawn Butter
- 5
Melt the Butter
In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter. Once melted, stir in the lemon juice and garlic powder. Keep warm until ready to serve.
