Method

Preparation

1

Chill the Glass

Begin by chilling your champagne flute. You can do this by placing it in the freezer for about 10-15 minutes or filling it with ice water.

2

Pour Crème de Cassis

Once the glass is chilled, remove it from the freezer or ice water. Pour 15 ml of Crème de Cassis into the bottom of the champagne flute.

3

Add Champagne

Slowly pour 120 ml of chilled Champagne over the back of a spoon into the glass to create a layered effect. This helps to preserve the bubbles.

4

Garnish (optional)

If desired, add 5 fresh blackcurrants and 2 mint leaves to the drink for garnish.
