Pancake Preparation

  1. 1

    Mix the Dry Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt until well combined.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Wet Ingredients

In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted unsalted butter until smooth.

  3. 3

    Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients

Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture and stir gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; some lumps are fine.

  4. 4

    Heat the Pan

Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. You can add a small amount of butter to grease the surface if needed.

  5. 5

    Cook the Pancakes

Pour about 1/4 cup of pancake batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface (about 2-3 minutes), then flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown.

  6. 6

    Serve the Pancakes

Remove the pancakes from the skillet and keep warm. Repeat with the remaining batter. Serve pancakes stacked with organic maple syrup and fresh fruit on top.
