Prepare the Pompano
Season the pompano fillets with salt and black pepper on both sides.

Sauté the Fillets
In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the seasoned pompano fillets and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the fillets from the skillet and keep warm.

Cook the Shrimp and Tomatoes
In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil, garlic, and crushed red chili peppers. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the Gulf shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 3-4 minutes. Then add the halved cherry tomatoes and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the tomatoes are softened.

Combine and Serve
Stir in the chopped parsley and basil. Spoon the shrimp and tomato mixture over the pompano fillets and serve immediately.
