Method
Preparation of Chicken Wings

Prep the Wings
Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Season with salt and black pepper.

Heat the Oil
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 375°F (190°C).

Fry the Wings
Carefully add the chicken wings to the hot oil in batches, frying for about 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.

Drain the Wings
Remove the wings from the oil and drain on paper towels.

Brown Sugar & Apple BBQ Sauce
In a saucepan, combine apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and smoked paprika. Simmer for 15 minutes until thickened.
Serving

Toss the Wings
Toss the fried wings in your choice of charred carrot buffalo sauce or brown sugar & apple BBQ sauce until well coated.

Garnish with chopped chives before serving.
