Method

Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Steak

In a small bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, salt, and black pepper. Rub this mixture onto both sides of the ribeye steaks and let them marinate at room temperature for about 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat, around 450°F (232°C).

  3. 3

    Grill the Steaks

Once the grill is hot, place the marinated ribeye steaks on the grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness is achieved.

  4. 4

    Rest the Steaks

Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for about 5 minutes before slicing.

French Fries Preparation

  1. 5

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel the russet potatoes and cut them into thin strips, about 1/4 inch thick. Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

  2. 6

    Heat the Oil

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

  3. 7

    Fry the Potatoes

Drain and dry the soaked potatoes thoroughly. Fry them in the hot oil in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

  4. 8

    Season the Fries

While the fries are still hot, sprinkle with salt to taste.
