In a small bowl, mix together the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Rub this seasoning mixture all over the pork ribs, ensuring they are evenly coated.

Prepare the Slow Cooker
Place the seasoned ribs into the slow cooker, standing them upright if possible to maximize space.
Making the BBQ Sauce

Mix Sauce Ingredients
In a medium bowl, combine the ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and liquid smoke. Stir until well combined.

Add Sauce to Ribs
Pour the BBQ sauce over the ribs in the slow cooker, ensuring they are well coated with the sauce.
Cooking the Ribs

Slow Cook the Ribs
Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until the ribs are tender and the meat is pulling away from the bone.

Finish and Serve
Once cooked, carefully remove the ribs from the slow cooker. If desired, brush with additional BBQ sauce and place under the broiler for 2-3 minutes to caramelize. Serve hot with your favorite sides.
