Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Prime Rib

Season the prime rib with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Rub olive oil over the meat.

  2. 2

    Cook the Prime Rib

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the seasoned prime rib in a roasting pan and cook for about 1.5 to 2 hours, or until it reaches your desired doneness. Let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing.

  3. 3

    Make the Horseradish Aioli

In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise and horseradish together until well combined. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Au Jus

In a saucepan, heat the beef broth over medium heat. Once warmed, season with salt and pepper as needed.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Sandwiches

Slice the French rolls in half. Layer sliced prime rib on the bottom half, top with Swiss cheese, and spread a generous amount of horseradish aioli. Place the top half of the roll on the sandwich.

  6. 6

    Serve

Cut the sandwiches in half and serve with warm au jus on the side for dipping.
