Marinate Proteins

Prepare the Marinade
In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, bourbon, minced garlic, minced ginger, red pepper flakes, and black pepper. Mix well until sugar is dissolved.

Marinate Chicken
Add the chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours.

Marinate Shrimp
In a separate bowl, add the shrimp to the remaining marinade. Cover and refrigerate for about 15-30 minutes.
Cook the Proteins

Cook Chicken
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Remove chicken from marinade and discard excess marinade. Cook the chicken for about 7-8 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Add Remaining Garlic
Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Combine and Serve

Combine All Ingredients
Return the cooked chicken and shrimp to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Toss everything together to combine and heat through for 2-3 minutes.

Garnish and Serve
Transfer the Bourbon Street Chicken & Shrimp to a serving platter. Garnish with sliced green onions and chopped fresh parsley. Serve hot.
