Preparing Riblets

Marinate the Riblets
In a large bowl, combine garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Rub the spice mixture over the pork riblets. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Cook the Riblets
In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the marinated riblets and sear on both sides until browned, about 4-5 minutes per side.

Add Barbecue Sauce
Reduce heat to low and pour in the barbecue sauce. Cover the skillet and simmer the riblets for 30-40 minutes, turning occasionally, until the riblets are tender and the sauce is caramelized.

Cook French Fries
Prepare the French fries according to package instructions, either by frying or baking until golden brown.

Prepare Coleslaw
In a mixing bowl, combine coleslaw mix with your favorite dressing and toss until well coated. Set aside to chill.

Heat Cornbread
Warm the cornbread pieces in the oven or microwave until heated through.
Plating

Assemble the Plate
On a large plate, place a generous serving of riblets alongside the French fries, coleslaw, and cornbread. Drizzle additional barbecue sauce over the riblets if desired.
