Stuffed Mushrooms Ingredients

Method

Stuffed Mushrooms Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Mushroom Caps

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Clean the mushroom caps with a damp cloth and remove the stems. Set the caps aside.

  2. 2

    Cook the Filling

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.

  3. 3

    Add Sausage

Add the Italian sausage to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spoon. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.

  4. 4

    Mix in Wine and Spices

Stir in the white wine, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the mixture is slightly thickened. Remove from heat.

  5. 5

    Stuff the Mushroom Caps

Using a spoon, fill each mushroom cap generously with the sausage mixture. Place the stuffed caps on a baking sheet.

  6. 6

    Top with Parmesan

Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the stuffed mushrooms.

  7. 7

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until the mushrooms are tender and the cheese is golden brown.

  8. 8

    Garnish and Serve

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
