Preparation Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Beef
Wrap the beef tenderloin tightly in plastic wrap and freeze for about 1-2 hours until firm. This will make it easier to slice thinly.
- 2
Slice the Beef
Once the beef is firm, remove it from the freezer and unwrap. Using a sharp knife, slice the beef into very thin slices. Arrange the slices on a chilled plate in a single layer.
- 3
Add Toppings
Drizzle the olive oil and lemon juice over the beef slices. Scatter the capers evenly on top, followed by the shaved parmesan cheese.
- 4
Season
Finish off with cracked black pepper to taste. If desired, add fresh arugula around the edges for garnish.
- 5
Serve
Serve immediately as an appetizer or light main dish.
