Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Shrimp

In a large bowl, season the shrimp with salt, black pepper, paprika, cumin, and New Mexican red chile powder. Toss well to coat.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Shrimp

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until they turn pink and opaque.

  3. 3

    Add Beer and Cream

Pour in the beer and bring to a simmer. Let it cook for about 2 minutes to reduce slightly. Then, stir in the heavy cream and minced garlic.

  4. 4

    Finish the Dish

Allow the mixture to simmer for an additional 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. Adjust seasoning if necessary.

  5. 5

    Garnish and Serve

Remove from heat, garnish with chopped cilantro, and serve immediately. Enjoy with rice or crusty bread.
