Preparation

Cooking Directions

1. Prepare the Garlic Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Add the minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped thyme, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Stir well and let it simmer for about 5 minutes until fragrant.

2. Prepare the Mushroom Caps

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Clean the mushroom caps and remove the stems. Place the mushroom caps on a baking sheet, cavity side up.

3. Fill with Escargot

Place one escargot in each mushroom cap. Spoon the herbed garlic butter generously over each escargot-filled mushroom.

4. Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the mushrooms are tender and the butter is bubbling.

5. Serve

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Serve warm as an appetizer, garnished with additional chopped parsley if desired.
