Preparation and Cooking Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare the Lobster

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Use kitchen scissors to cut the top of the lobster shell lengthwise, exposing the meat. Gently pull the meat out and rest it on top of the shell.

  2. 2

    Season the Lobster

Brush the lobster meat with olive oil and season it with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

  3. 3

    Bake the Lobster

Place the prepared lobster tails on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and cooked through.

  4. 4

    Charcoal Grill the Lobster

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Transfer the baked lobster tails to the grill and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes, turning occasionally to achieve a slight char.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove the lobster tails from the grill and serve immediately with drawn butter and lemon wedges on the side.
