Omelette

Method

Preparation and Cooking

  1. 1

    Prepare the Crab Meat

In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add 1 cup of crab meat and sauté for about 3-5 minutes until heated through. Add minced garlic and sauté for an additional minute. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Omelette

In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, salt, and black pepper until well blended. Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.

  3. 3

    Cook the Omelette

Pour the egg mixture into the skillet and cook until the edges start to set. Gently lift the edges with a spatula and tilt the pan to allow the uncooked eggs to flow to the edges.

  4. 4

    Add Fillings

Once the eggs are nearly set, spread the cream cheese over half of the omelette. Top with sautéed crab meat, Jack cheese, and chopped green onions.

  5. 5

    Fold and Serve

Carefully fold the omelette in half over the fillings and cook for another minute until the cheese is melted. Slide onto a plate and enjoy!
